However, the House rejected the rejection by not passing the report; in fact, not even seconding it. So, the Senate has already pronounced itself on this matter in support of the decision by the National Assembly on her nomination. Madam Deputy Speaker, unless this Commination is just to confirm the appointment, which we already have no problem with, then, Senators will be confused to assume that you want us to go through the process again. Maybe, a clarification from you will be quite in order for us to know. This is because the Senate almost unanimously, with the exception of a few Members of the Committee, support the nomination and appointment of Hon. Rachel Ameso Amolo."
