"content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, we have a lot of challenges as a country. If I have to talk about my county, right now, people are facing a lot of challenges as far as hunger is concerned. The day before yesterday, they called and asked me to talk to the Government and see how they can be given relief food because they are really suffering. I had to speak to the Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa who told me that they do not have anything because of the closure of the financial year but he asked me to check next week. That clearly means that we are not prepared in as much as we have done a lot. I hope that with time, we can look into all these issues and make sure that our people are safe. In Isiolo, people are not even bothered about wearing masks or keeping social distance. Every day, you will see people greeting and hugging each other with no masks. Life is normal for them. I might say that God is protecting them, but if we had finances, we should have been able to assist them so that they can adhere to the rules that govern COVID-19."
