    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, this Bill also proposes that Kenyans should be given what we call public awareness and disaster preparedness. It is shocking that in this country when you hear gun shots, instead of people running and taking cover, they run towards the sound of the gunshots. In fact, many times people get injured or maimed because of going in the wrong direction. I think it is also important that this Bill is used to train people to understand what exactly is expected of them when we have a disaster. It is important that this Bill is used to train people on whatever is expected of them whenever there is a disaster, so that we can save lives. When disasters occur, many people lose lives. I wish to support the Bill and congratulate Hon. Ichung’wah for this excellent Bill. However, I have noted that his choice of leaders is a disaster."
