Speaker, I beg to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender and Youth Affairs, the following Question: (i) What specific policy plans does the Ministry have for interns engaged by various State Departments for a year and whose tenures is about to end? (ii) In view of the service rendered to the public by the interns, could the Government consider renewing the 2019/2020 internship engagement or absorbing the interns permanently in the Public Service?"
