    "content": "You all recall that the National Assembly passed the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (Amendment No.3) Bill, (National Assembly Bill No.35 of 2019) on 24th September 2019. The Bill seeks to amend the First Schedule to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act of 2011 to provide for the establishment of a selection panel to oversee the filling of vacant positions in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. Following its passage by the House, the Bill was forwarded to the Senate for consideration as it is a Bill concerning county governments."
