Further the public servants offer key and essential services to the citizens of the Republic of Kenya. Recently, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury issued a directive concerning freezing of recruitment and hiring of new civil servants for the next three years. The said freeze is likely to have an adverse effect on the livelihoods of the citizens."
