    "content": "It is important that the Chair of the Committee on Roads and Transportation liaises with the Ministry to see if the contractor has done substandard work. If that is the case, then such a contractor must be surcharged and retired from construction so that a better contractor is contracted because whether we use fuel levy funds, the Government of Kenya (GoK) funds or borrowed money, it is a burden to the taxpayer. We would like good work to be done."
