    "content": "Thirdly, taxation of digital space continues to be a big hindrance to the growth of the space. The Committee on 3rd June, 2020, met with the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury to deliberate on the Digital Services Tax (DST) that came into effect with the passing of the Finance Act, 2020. The DST is 1.5 per cent tax on gross value of transactions to be levied at the point of transfer of payment for the services to service providers."
