In this regard, the Committee has been making a deliberate effort to engage with other stakeholders in the private sector. The Committee noted the opportunities the technology presents for the country in the areas of the internet, telemedicine, among other areas. The Committee will be holding a consultative meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for ICT and other stakeholders on the development of a national 5G Strategy."
