    "content": "This is a very detailed Report. I request the Members to read it. Almost 60 years after Independence, it is wrong for our people to be poorer than the way they were after Independence. Western Kenya is one of the most fertile places in our country. However, it is one of the most neglected areas by the Government. This is the time that we must make sure that the people of western Kenya and other sugar growing areas are treated the same as the ones who grow coffee, tea and other cash crops. If there is a waiver of any fund like the one of taxes, they should also benefit like anybody else. I believe that all Kenyans are equal. They should all benefit from the resources as Kenyans."
