"content": "In this country, we have silos, which were built by the ‘Whiteman’. We have not added a single grain storage because most of them are empty. We should not have the idea where people say that there are areas that are favoured with resources because that is far from the truth. Coffee used to be the main foreign exchange earner in this country. Tea was also a major foreign exchange earner. Now, both of them are on their knees. We should address matters. Let us not try to bend issues to do with the country. The issue of agriculture in this country should be addressed centrally. We are concerned as representatives of the people. Pastoralists who sold their cattle to the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) five years ago have never been paid. I am not a pastoralist but I am here to speak the truth about this country. Therefore, we should address matters."
