I wish to ask the following Question to the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary state when the Kenya-Somalia Border at Kiunga Border Point will be opened to enable trading among the residents of Lamu East Constituency, noting that Khat ( Miraa ) traders from neighbouring counties are operating at the Border Point? (ii) When will the residents of Lamu East be allowed to conduct business and trade activities along the Kiunga-Somalia Border so as to enhance co-operation and improve on their livelihoods?"
