Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Energy the following Question: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide the implementation status report of the Last Mile Connectivity Programme in the country, with particular reference to Nandi Hills Constituency, indicating the amount of funds the programme has received, and how much has been utilised since its inception? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary outline the challenges faced in implementing the programme? (iii) Could the Cabinet Secretary consider facilitating electricity connection under the said programme to the following areas and institutions in Nandi Hills Constituency which are in dire need of connectivity: Sile A/Kipchenge, Ng’ame, Kipkoror/Kapkawa, The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
