I rise to ask Question No. 026/2020 which is directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs: (i) What steps have been taken by the Ministry to facilitate the retrieval of the body of the late James Osala Nyadenge, a resident of East Gem Ward, Gem Constituency who was murdered while fishing in Lake Victoria, on the Tanzania territorial waters on 31st August, 2020 and his body thrown into the lake? (ii) What diplomatic measures have been put in place to ensure peaceful co-existence between the communities living in all countries that share Lake Victoria waters so as to guarantee their safety and in particular safety of Kenyan fishermen who solely depend on fishing as a source of livelihood? I thank you."
