"content": "wrong. I am very proud that I have never been caught up in that. Since I started voting, I have never voted for a candidate of my tribe since my first vote ever. I have voted for ideas and character. I do not know if that will change in 2022. It is possible. However, let us always know that we must look at Kenya not in terms of what it has been but in terms of what it must be. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, this work by Sen. Farhiya and I, I must admit and confess to the country and this House that she did a good portion of this work. I did maybe 30 per cent and she did 70 per cent. So, the credit is yours. In fact, when we were cosponsoring she said her name must be first. I said put your name in capital letters and bold and then you put “and” in small letters “Sen. Johnson Sakaja”. That is because she has done much of the work. These are the steps we take. It might look small, Sen, Farhiya, but these are the things that make a country. If you have read the book on why nations fail, it shows you that systems are the difference of two countries with the same geography, minerals, same kind of people, but one country where you have systems of how things can be done. In another country, it is corrupt and there are no values and systems. These are systems. This is what will make us stand out within the region. This is what will make us become a fully functional country, where as I have said, a fair chance is a prerogative of all. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I want to finish by saying this. I would like advice on how much tie I still have."
