Speaker, I beg to ask the Cabinet Secretary of Health the following Question: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide a list of nurses who were deployed and seconded to work in the Republic of Namibia and those whose contracts have expired and are out of employment and are yet to be reinstated as directed by the President? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why the said nurses were not receiving their salaries and allowances despite having been seconded by the Government of Kenya? (iii) What steps is the Ministry taking for their immediate reinstatement?"
