    "content": "things that are coming, but let us always remember to remain together. There are Members here who were possibly not seeing eye to eye. Please, let us restore those relationships. Finally, we prayed for a unanimous vote, and we have gotten one. Let us have the same vigour as we oversight the counties. I want to make a special mention to the Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) of the Parliament of Kenya; Mr. Martin Masinde, Ms. Amran Mursal, and the entire team. The three of them presented to us and gave us better options than the entire Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) and the National Treasury. They worked day and night, and they never got the credit that they deserve. We must thank them, and the Secretariat led by Mr. Nyegenye. I want to thank Mr. Mogere who has done an amazing job throughout this process. On behalf of the Committee of 12 who have met 17 times, we want to thank Mr. Mogere, Mr. Nyegenye and the Parliamentary Budget Office (PBO) for what they have done for this country. Let it be known, remembered and go down in history that the Senate of the Republic of Kenya in 2020 stood up for the rights of this country and believed that every Kenyan, no matter where they are, invariably wants the same thing; no matter your race, colour or tribe. Every Kenyan wants the same thing; to go about their lives peacefully, make something out of themselves and guarantee their children a future. Today, the child in Mandera will sleep as soundly as the child in Kakamega. I thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, on behalf of everyone. God bless this country."
