As I proceed, this proposed amendment will empower our medical practitioners to comfortably compete with their colleagues in the First World economies. Once our people fall sick, at the most complicated levels, they tend to fly to India, the United Kingdom or the United States of America. Once this Bill is enacted, we will have professionals in Kenya opening up their market of knowledge to compete with their equivalents in developed economies.
