    "content": "Much as Members may want to entertain those issues, it is important that we do what is within our mandate. The Constitution states that people can petition Parliament but it also says that Parliament can only look at matters within its mandate, whether it is the Senate or the National Assembly. The moment we start deviating to look at matters in court and in the National Land Commission, we would be diverting from our core mandate as per the Constitution. It would be important that you give us guidance at some point on what can be brought here and what cannot."
