"content": " Hon. Speaker, the leave of the House is not required for the House to go on recess because we had already approved the Calendar of the House. If we did not want to proceed on recess from tomorrow, we would have brought a Motion to change the Calendar. So, we are definitely proceeding on recess tomorrow. Hon. Speaker, this is our last Sitting until 8th September, and until that time, there is a likelihood that Messages from the Senate or the President will be sent here. Our Standing Orders would have required that those Messages are read in the plenary but since there will be no plenary, through this Motion, we are giving you powers to refer the same to the relevant Committees. We want to seek the concurrence of this House to do that. If a Bill is published, upon lapse of seven days, we do not have to wait for First Reading of the same for the Bills to be referred to various Committees for consideration. I can go on and on – even amendments or any Communication from the Senate regarding a Bill. Hon. Speaker, after concurring with the HBC on this Motion, I want to wish Members the best during the one-month recess. I understand that times are difficult because we are not able to meet our constituents formally and properly. I want to ask them to try and inspect some of the NG- CDF projects that are ongoing in their constituencies, together with other projects that are funded through the National Government funding. Hon. Speaker, I second."
