    "content": "Further, Section 23(1) of the Act states that the expenditure for running the Board and related purposes shall be set aside at the beginning of the financial year and not more than 5 per cent of the total allocation to the fund in the financial year may be used for this purpose, the annual budget of which shall be approved by the Cabinet Secretary with the concurrence of the National Assembly’s NG-CDF Committee. Therefore, the allocation to the Board for the Financial Year 2020/2021 amounts to Kshs.1,959,025,000 which is approximately 4.69 per cent of the total allocation to the Fund."
