    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support the amendment. In this country, young people are more disadvantaged as far as employment is concerned. It is high time the Public Service Commission annually provided a report of the people or persons who are employed each year so that we can get a clear picture of the employment that takes place in this country. Currently, people are suffering due to COVID-19 pandemic. There are proposals by the Government to give us employment. However, if you go outside there are very few people who are employed. They are calling upon the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to take up the matter because if you are not inclined to a certain person or area, you are not considered as far as employment is concerned. Inclusivity during employment is of much importance, regardless of the community you come from. You are supposed to be given the opportunity to get a job. In many cases, some of the people are discriminated against maybe because of their names. We hear that certain communities benefit from some specific employment while leaving out others. Young people in this country are being discriminated against a lot because of the age and lack of experience. I was elected by the people of Igembe South Constituency having not done any job elsewhere yet I am delivering to them. So, matters experience should be put aside so that, at least, young people can benefit from employment in this country. When young people are not engaged in activities, they engage in crime. It is not right to see the young people of this country being killed because they have engaged in illegal acts whereas they have the capacity and ability to do something which is beneficial to this country. With that, I beg to support. Thank you."
