    "content": "Further, the Bill seeks to bring Cap.106 into conformity with the directions of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) in regard to retirement benefits due to MPs as SRC is established under Article 230 of the Constitution. It is empowered under Article 230(4) to set and regularly review the remuneration and benefits of State officers. Members of Parliament, both the National Assembly and the Senate, are State officers."
