    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. When we talk about this, it arouses a lot of concern out there. The members of the public that we serve always look at us very negatively, particularly today which was a unique day in that we discussed this matter in the morning and afternoon. Many other stakeholders are also affected and would want to hear what we are saying about this. I am delighted that first, this Bill seeks to align itself with the Constitution. Indeed, it has taken us too long before we bring this into action. There are salient issues that arise. I am impressed because Clause 2 of this Bill states that the provisions of this Act shall apply to any person who is a Member of Parliament on or at any time after the commencement of this Act.
