Makali Mulu has just stated, I would want to encourage the chairpersons even when there are requests for Statements and even before you come to read the Statement here, it is desirable that you reach out to the Member who made the request. You can do it even one or two days before if you have the Statement. Discuss with the Member. You may find that the Member will give you so much information that you may just come here and say, we have discussed with the Member, and we have agreed that I go and seek further information. That is a better way so that the Statement which will be tabled here, will in the first instance meet the expectations of the Member making the request. Do not just keep it to yourself because you are not the author of the Statement. So, if you keep it to yourself without discussing with the Member, you will come here… I am very glad that Hon. Katoo ole Metito had already said that he had already discussed with Hon. (Dr.) Wilberforce Oundo. That is the practice that we should adopt and chairs particularly.
