    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, when Members of this House hear of Commodities Fund, they do not know what this fund entails. This fund was established under Section 9 of Crops Act, No. 16 of 2013 which was a merger of the defunct Coffee Development Fund and the Sugar Development Fund. This is the fund that most of the Members here especially from Western, Nyanza and parts of the Coast Region should be interested in. They should seek to understand its operations especially in sugar development. This fund is very key in supporting farmers, especially cane and coffee farmers.
