Temporary Deputy Speaker for the opportunity to support this Report by the Special Funds Accounts Committee on the Adoption of the Report of the Financial Statements for the Commodities Fund. I belong to this Committee and took part in the interrogation of these Report. As my colleague has just mentioned the issue of sugar in this country is political. We saw this from the mere fact when the Commodities Fund appeared before the Committee and said the whole issue of handover was not done well by the Sugar Development Fund. That is why even after the purported handover by the Sugar Development Fund to the Commodities Fund, the Sugar Development Fund still continued collecting money and loans it was owed by various people and millers. So, it was not very clear why within that time they were still collecting loans and yet, the Commodities Fund had taken over. So, there was a clear problem with handover.
