I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Departmental Committee on Communication, Information and Innovation in its Report on the Vetting of the Nominee for Appointment as the Data Commissioner, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 3rd November 2020 and, pursuant to Section 64 of the Data Protection Act of 2019 and Section 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act of 2011, this House approves the appointment of Ms. Immaculate Kassait as the Data Commissioner."
