Speaker, thank you very much for giving me an opportunity to support the appointments presented to us in the Report by the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations. I served in the Committee in the last Parliament. This is a job which the Committee has done very well. I am confident and happy that they have brought to us a list that is in line with our Constitution. Is the list representative of the country? Yes. Is the list the face of Kenya? Yes. Is the list gender sensitive? Yes. So, I thank the Committee for taking into account our Constitution."
