The reason for DOs to attend paramilitary training is that they get involved in security issues. I am not saying that ladies are not able. Indeed, they can be deployed in Ministries as Assistant Secretaries in areas where they do not need to be involved in combat. However, I agree with the hon. Member that the ratio should be one third. In any case, with the passing of the new constitution, we will have no option but to have one third of recruits."
