    "content": "Let me digress a bit because I know Members have been concerned about another issue of delay in financing of operations in constituency offices. I have been in touch with the National Treasury, the Office of the Speaker and the Office of the Clerk. I think before the end of this week, there should be some funding. We may also change the mode of payment because it is done on a quarterly basis and every quarter, there is a delay. We have discussed with the Clerk that perhaps we need to be releasing funds after every two months and then monthly, so that, at least, there is no money lying idle in the constituency. This is because at the end of the quarter, you end up with a month of disruption. We need to change that system so that there is continuous flow and accountability. This might help to smoothen the flow. The good news is that you do not need to worry anymore. Action has been taken in terms of facilitating the operations at the constituency level. Thank you, Hon.
