I, too, want to support the Committee in annulling, in entirety, the Special Economic Zones (Amendment) Regulations, Notice No. 33 of 2020. Kenyans were very clear about what they wanted in the 2010 Constitution. People must be given an opportunity to give their contribution on those laws or regulations or even budgets that are being proposed in this country. It is clear that this did not happen and therefore the Committee, in their wisdom, rejected the amendment. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
