I wish to join my colleagues in congratulating the President on his Address to the nation, albeit, as he said, six months late because of the COVID-19 challenge. You remember I rose at the beginning of this Session on a point of order seeking information from the Speaker on when the President will be doing this. I am really glad that he was able to do this before the end of the year fulfilling his constitutional obligations. The President stated from the onset of his Speech that the state of our nation is strong and resilient. He said it is brimming with the promise of an even better tomorrow. At that point, I reflected on those words.
