    "content": "So, I am asking and I know your Office has been very kind to us. Some of these aspects we keep talking about and I hear them from day to day, every other day... We have talked about the Office of the Auditor-General. For as long as the Auditor-General is meant to report to the Finance Committee on matters that relate to that office, the office will not become independent of the Ministry in charge of Finance. We have said this as a Committee that we need an independent committee in Parliament that deals with constitutional commissions and independent offices. That way, I can tell you that issue of the Auditor-General would have come here much earlier and that committee would have been able to protect the independence of the retired Auditor-General, which would then give confidence to the ones who are serving now. I support the three petitions."
