I rise to appeal to your magnanimity, requesting that the Petition that I just read, regarding the establishment of a retirement package for the Auditor-General, be directed to the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee rather than going to the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning. The reason being that I believe that even in the existing laws in our Constitution, there are ways of ensuring that this happens by just implementing the Constitution, as it is, without necessarily even having to make new laws. Therefore, I request that we move this Petition to the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee."
