    "content": "I am also happy that he was able to have his Government forgo some taxes so that Kenyans who are ravaged by the pandemic can make ends meet and also avoid the impact of inflation. Once there is inflation with the same salary, one cannot buy things. The tax measures were used to have extra disposable income that can make people continue buying so that the economic engine continues to grow. People who are net consumers also have less inflation so that prices are lower because of the tax cut. I commend him for also reducing VAT."
