    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) I am aware that Ilingeni Dam which was constructed in November/December, 2009 to supply water to the residents of Mbitini Division in Nzaui District is damaged. This was due to an unusual storm that occurred in the area between 27th February, 2010 and 28th February the same year. (b) I can confirm that the contractor completed the works satisfactorily and the project was inspected and verified complete on 21st December, 2009. (c) The contractor has already commenced the repairs of the damaged section of the dam under the defects liability period. The works already done include:- (i) Repair of the damaged section. (ii) Expansion of the spiral base width. The contractor is still on site working on the eroded part of the spillway after which construction of No.3 concrete seals across the spillway will be done. The works are expected to be completed before the end of the financial year."
