    "content": "We want to support our economy and ensure that it grows. We cannot do it without the industries. However, they have to use modern technology which will not cause harm or danger to the people whom we represent. The dust from mining causes a lot of asthma in the community. Research which was conducted confirmed our worst fears. Part of the challenges that cause asthma in the neighbouring community where ballast harvesting is being done is the dust from the ballast. We have to engage NEMA which needs to improve its way of doing things, so that they can protect the country and the economy. Treatment of the diseases is very expensive."
