Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 34 of the Bill be amended— (a) by renumbering the existing provision as sub-clause (1); (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after the renumbered sub-clause (1)— “(2) The Crops Act, 2013 is amended in Part I of the First Schedule by deleting the expression “Tea...............................................................Camellia spp.”” The justification is that the amendment seeks to correctly do a consequential amendment to the Crops Act."
