    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 35 and substituting therefor the following new clause— 35. All property, except such property as the Cabinet Secretary may specify in Transfer of assets writing, which, immediately before the commencement of this Act, was vested in the and Government for the use of the Tea Directorate of the Agriculture and Food Authority and liabilities the Tea Research Institute of the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation, shall, on the date of commencement of this Act, vest in the Board and the Foundation, respectively, subject to all interests, liabilities, charges, obligations and trusts affecting that property The justification is that the amendment seeks to provide for the transfer of assets and liabilities vested in the Tea Directorate of the Agriculture and Food Authority and the Tea Research Institute of the Kenya, Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation to the proposed Tea Board of Kenya and the proposed Tea Research Foundation."
