    "content": "Currently, we have the Commissions of Inquiry Act, Cap.102 of the Laws of Kenya that was enacted and came into force on 12th June, 1962 and as preamble to that Act states, it is an Act of Parliament to provide for the appointment of commissioners to inquire into and report on matters of a public nature, referred to them by the President to prescribe their powers, privileges and duties and to provide for other matters relating thereto.
