    "content": "arrested were released on cash bail. No person has been released without charge. I want to assure this House that all those who were arrested were bailed out after having paid cash bail. This included the area Member of Parliament. Mr. Speaker, Sir, during public peace meetings convened by the District Security and Intelligence Committee for Kirinyaga South, members of the public volunteered information and gave names of those they suspect to be behind the attacks. The Government will not spare anybody who incites people to violence, irrespective of his or her status in the society. I would like to appeal to the residents of Kirinyaga that they should maintain law and order at all times. While there is a case pending in court, the status quo should be observed until a time when the court makes a ruling on the fate of those already settled there. Both regular and Administration Police have been providing security to over 4,500 households already settled in that settlement scheme."
