Normally when a lawyer is cross- examining and he asks you a question, just say ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ I believe the witness should do so instead of trying to be evasive from whatever angle. It does not save time. Could you be kind enough to guide the witness to reply with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer? That is exactly what the witness should do. I do not think we need any extra issues."
