    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to move the following Motion- THAT, the National Assembly amendments to the Tea Bill (Senate Bills No.36 of 2018) be now considered. Mr. Speaker, Sir, Senators will remember that on June, 2019, we passed this Bill and it was referred to the National Assembly where it has been until December this year when it was brought back to the Senate with amendments. As a Committee, we have looked at the amendments and discussed with various stakeholders including, and not limited to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. After the Bill came from the National Assembly, I forwarded some of the concerns and petitions from several stakeholders who would like to see amendments in the Bill to the Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries petitions.
