    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I totally agree that the sugarcane should be weighed but there has been an agreement between the stakeholders, especially the millers with the Kenya Sugar Board (KSB), where the agreement is that they cannot afford to put a weigh bridge. For example, in Mumias, they have more than 70,000 sugarcane growers. Are we really going to have a weigh bridge for them; a machine which is so costly? That is why we are saying that we want the farmers and the KSB to agree to have this machine at a central place where this sugarcane can be weighed."
