    "content": "We need to ask ourselves a few basic questions. For example, why is fuel more expensive in Kenya than in Uganda and yet, they get their fuel through the Port of Mombasa? Even sugar is cheaper in the neighbouring countries than in our country. Why are factories closing down shops in Kenya and going to open them in other countries? This is because of the oppressive tax regime in this country. Some Members have said that this country has one of the best tax regimes in the region, which is not true. I say so because the cost of production and electricity in this country is double what is charged in our neighbouring countries."
