Your predecessor in the Eleventh Parliament stuck his neck out to ensure that the role of the Senate is not belittled and that there is respect for the law and the role of the Senate. Similarly, in this case, you were the first Petitioner. The High Court upheld what was already decided by the Supreme Court, that is, the National Assembly must abide by Article 110(3) of the Constitution. There was an attempt to get to the Court of Appeal to issue conservatory orders to ensure that the National Assembly continues to violate the Constitution by not complying with Article 110(3) of the Constitution.
