Therefore, I join my colleagues in stating that one of the issues we did not look at is how to prevent human-wildlife conflict and if it happens, how to compensate and reconstitute what has been lost both to wildlife and to the human beings. We know budget constraints make it tactically unsustainable to compensate everybody but I believe there can be a robust way of achieving compensation however tokenism it is to those who suffer as a result of wildlife."
