    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, there are plans to carry out census of all street children in the country’s major towns to establish their numbers, ages, gender and needs. This will help during policy formulation, planning and decision making with regard to street children with a view to rehabilitating them. The Child Protection Centre Programme is aimed at attracting vulnerable children to the centres where they are able to build relationships with social workers, as a first step towards developing support plans for each individual."
