    "content": "Thank you, Madam Deputy Speaker. I rise to support the Statement raised by Sen. Prengei on the security in relation to maize planting. It is very ridiculous and amazing that security officers are labelling a food crop as a security threat. We are encouraging agriculture in Kenya through production of maize and other crops. It becomes ridiculous for military officers to allege that maize production will be a security threat to this Republic. No wonder, Kenyans have no confidence in the security apparatus."
